The South Trafford Archaeological Group are running a day school looking at medieval pottery from excavations in Trafford on Saturday 12 November 2022. The aim of the day is to compare the large amount of later medieval pottery from the Timperley Old Hall moated site with other sites of a similar a period from around the region. There will be an opportunity to see and handle much of this material on the day and to tour the medieval urban landscape of Altrincham in the afternoon. The venue is the Council Chamber, Altrincham Town Hall, Market Street, Altrincham.
